YOU ARE WELCOME TO THE MONGOS SUMMER SCHOOL 2022
The MonGOS Summer School 2022 will be held in person in Riga & Ratnieki (Ligatne parish), Latvia according to all valid sanitary restrictions with a maximum of 25 participants.

- Where? Riga & Ratnieki (Ligatne parish), Latvia
- Participation is FREE OF CHARGE: The organizers provide free accommodation & catering at the event venue (starting from 29th May, so one night before the Summer School). The only cost of participation is travel costs to Riga, Latvia
- The Summer School will be entirely in English

The Recreation complex “Ratnieki” consists of 5 historic buildings with conference rooms and guest houses. It is located in the territory of the Gauja National Park where you can enjoy the silence and harmony of Latvia’s countryside. The venue is only 13 km from one of the top attraction places in Latvia – Sigulda. Sigulda is a magical place whit impressive nature objects such as Gutman’s Cave, breathtaking landscapes over the primaeval valley of the River Gauja and three medieval castles standing at a shooting distance of a cannon from each other — Sigulda Castle, Turaida Castle and Krimulda Castle.

Due to the specify of the Summer School we mainly invite Master’s and Doctoral (PhD) students as well as PhD candidates interested in the circular economy, sustainable development, environmental sciences/engineering, environmental management.
